Sorry for the glaring photo. This is neon green with some lemon yellow and a little bit of blue. I have continued spinning on the spindle and I am not sure what to do next. I have spun half of what I had, so at least 2 ounces here. I want to spin the other half separately so that I can ply it. So will one of you spinning friends please tell me what I should do next? Thank you! (My daughter J loves green, so I am hoping I will have enough of this to make her a hat...I will certainly be able to see her on the beach or in the woods! LOL)

That is fabulous spinning, Theresa! I LOVE the color. I am all about neon green these days.
If you have another batch to spin, wind this yarn into a ball, maybe a center pull ball but that is not mandatory, and set it aside. Spin your second batch and wind it off in a second ball.
Then take your two balls of yarn and contain them in someway so they won't fly about as you ply. You could put them in a plastic container (think coolwhip) and thread the yarn through a generous hole punched in the top.
Then, take the end of each and ply them together. Don't forget to spin your spindle in the opposite direction of your spinning or a mess will ensue.
I can't wait to see the finished yarn. So pretty!
Wow that is wonderful spindle spinning! I just learned how to do that last Saturday and my yarn is a mess! LOL!
I loved getting caught up on your blog this morning!
Beautiful pictures and stories!
I always feel good after reading your blog.
God Bless you and your family!
P.S. I liked the info on the bee keep post.
We have a local bee keeper in our town that we buy our honey from and it does seem to reduce our seasonal outdoor allergies.
