No, we weren't parked in Hobbiton! That's our van parked in front of some old WWII bunkers. There are tunnels, batteries and all kinds of subterranean buildings on the headlands built in 1942 and following years after Pearl Harbor was attacked. For my Washington friends and family, this is a lot like Fort Casey, but a bit bigger. I was raised by a man who fought in the Pacific during WWII so I find it interesting.
