Wildflowers In Winter is almost over and I have to say that this has been the funnest blog along I have ever participated in! This week's theme is children's flower art and there will be voting and a prize for the best one! (To vote for D click the link above and read week 7 where she gives her email address for voting!)
Here is D's colorful interpretation of our spring tulips and I just love it because he made it and the colors are so beautiful and almost like stained glass. He told me "I tried to make it look real!" :o)

What a wonderful rendition of tulips.
D's picture would look lovely on a card. If you ever do that, I'll buy some. I love kid art!!!
I'm so glad you are enjoying Wildflowers in Winter. What are we going to do when it's over? Tell D the artwork is lovely. I do think the tulips look real. Thank you for participating.
I have to tell you....I was trying to read your post before the battery went dead on my laptop...it was flashing at me, but when I saw D's picture, I had to get up and plug in my cord so I could tell him what a beautiful job he did. That is AMAZING!
(and it was no small thing to plug in the laptop, I had no sleep last night and am exhausted and headed to bed...but seriously, I am impressed!!!!)
and it does look real. excellent work and what talent you have!
I am writing to let you know that D. entry has won in the Kid's Wildflower Art contest. Would he prefer a watercolor set, or colored pencils? Please email me your mailing address, and I'll put a little package in the mail for him.
