Children's Christmas Music

Today was the day that the children sang "O Come All Ye Faithful" in church. You know these things used to be so much more funny when it wasn't my kids acting out! LOL Above is J. When she smiles, she smiles with her whole face! It's like sunshine.
This is D...If you look closely, you can see that he has a tooth missing in the bottom. It came out this morning!
Before church, I tried to get pics of the kids together of course. I took nearly 100 to show you just these crummy few. Shelley STOP laughing! She has been there, done that! She is laughing her behind off right now because she knows what a 3 ring circus it gets to be! It's exhausting when you are the Mom and behind the camera. I could have shown you a whole gallery of eye rolling, squinting (on purpose), looking every which way but the camera and "she's touching me!" LOL I won't bore you though. A is in the red and J in the black. Ummm, Mom...do you see Baby Ruth in any of these pics? :o)
I had to put this one up here because it just cracked me up. They have expressions on their faces like the movie stars in the 30s and 40s, so melodramatic.
Here we are, admiring big brother D! They really look up to him.
And this is as close as it gets. A, J, D. These are all low resolution crops. I'm having problem with y lens for indoor shots.

Here is D singing. He stood very still to sing, but apparently that was all he could handle because he was goofing around in children's church afterwards. It was the first time he has been spoken to and he was very embarrased that Miss Lynette had to speak to Daddy about it. I am not sure what the other boy, I, is doing here, but I didn't crop him out because it cracked me up. At least I didn't see any nose picking this year.
Here are A and J. J was pretty overwhelmed. She is our introvert so this was not easy for her. Apparently A had no problems though...
She saw K from the worship team holding a mic and went for it. She turned the opposite direction and just sang her heart out into the mic. When it was all done she asked, "Can we sing it again?" I don't know where she gets this from because if Mom and Dad saw a mic they would either run or hyperventilate! LOL
Here is my poor J, looking a little forlorn. Her physical mannerisms are so much like mine. And as I write this they are playing in the next room with dolls. A says "This one is Baby Jesus and this one is Baby God." (We don't have the whole Trinity concept down yet!) J says, "Oh, are they twins?!" Well, when you have two babies, they must be twins.

This is the whole group. I smudged the faces of the other kids since I don't have permission to post. You can see A on the left, bent over, singing into the mic and J watching. D just sings, looking straight ahead at the screen and everyone else is kind of doing their thing too! Never mind. A good time was had by all.

I love all the pictures! I didn't realize until the pictures all forlorn Josie was. It's hard to see all the kid's while sitting on the floor do sign lang. with the kids. Poor Josie, I heard later she didn't want to sing, she could have sat with her teachers.

I felt so bad when Daniel teared up while talking with dad. But in the end he gave me a big hug & smile & all was well!
