This is something to think about. Some people think it is legalistic to think of the Ten Commandments, but I don't think the death of Christ negated the Ten Commandments (it's still not okay to steal, lie and murder!), just eliminated them as a source of salvation. If it's not okay to break the other commandments, why do we think blaspheming God is okay? Just food for thought. It came up for us tonight watching a James Herriot video (All Creatures Great and Small from BBC) which we thought would be family oriented. There is a bit of swearing and blasphemy. We are sending the second one back. Not worth watching based on the Garbage In, Garbage Out principle.
