This is the roving I got from eBay and named parrot. My son is enamored with it. He loves to touch everything. I think I will try to make something for him out of it. I need suggestions on how to prepare it for spinning...break into 4 long strips to spin or stretch out the one long one or into two strip or ?

This is how I spin roving that is like yours: I break it exactly in half. Then I put one half back in the bag. This will be for my second bobbin. Then I take the other half, and break it into 3 or 4 equal pieces, depending on the color pattern. Then I take each section and seperate it into thin strips (like string cheese) and start spinning. That should make a pretty yarn!
