Imagine All the Legos...

This is Mr. D. He is really obsessed with Legos lately, especially any of the Indiana Jones ones, even though he doesn't totally know who he is. He has also been playing some games on the Lego site and making "Cool Creations". The truck is a normal Lego set, but the thing on the right is his creation for loading cargo and the forklift on the left is highly improvised.

We have never emphasized "boy toys" or "girl toys". Our kids play with some of each, though since our oldest is a boy, we do have more boy toys. People are crazy if they think it is all a cultural thing for toy preferences and I think these pictures prove it.

This is D's "troop transporter" for all the "bad guys". Since he has only one Indiana Jones Lego set, he has enlisted the help of the sanitation workers and the truck drivers. Any number of Lego pieces become "weapons."

On the other hand, let's step into girl Lego Land! Imagine with me, if you will... a place where we can all live and play together peacefully.

Imagine all the Legos...

Imagine where the Lego Mommies, Police Department and prisoners can sit together on pretty pink and aqua furniture in lovely surroundings, drinking tea and discussing what all good Lego people will.

Just imagine...

I love seeing what different kids do with Legos. Our HS group has a very loose Lego club - we've gone once or twice and the boys really love it!

My boys are hanging out on Lego.com too - they love the movies that people make with Legos...and the games of course. But their favorite activity is fantasy shopping! lol

If this doesn't prove that boys and girls think differently, then I don't know what does. So cute!
