Songs on Sunday

A few hours ago I came home from our church's women's retreat at Zephyr Point Presbyterian Conference Center in Zephyr Cove, Nevada on beautiful Lake Tahoe. I am physically and emotionally exhausted and drained. Some of that is good and some of it is being overwhelmed stepping out of the solitude, fellowship and beauty of the weekend back into chaos and 100 mile long to do lists! It was a great retreat and we had a nice family day together on Friday before my Hubby and Kids dropped me off.
Moments after I took this picture, I sat down on a picnic bench, looking out towards the sun's after glow over the lake and began to feel overwhelmed by my emotions. Just when it felt like it would overwhelm me, sounds drifted out of the conference rooms where there was a couple's retreat on the same grounds. As my heart cried out "OH God! HELP!" He answered with the beautiful worship music, a song Chris Tomlin sings... Your grace is enough for me... His grace IS enough for me. So, this is the song I have chosen for my Songs on Sunday post. Lake Tahoe pictures coming soon!
Great is Your faithfulness oh God
You wrestle with the sinner's heart
You lead us by still waters and to mercy
And nothing can keep us apart
So remember Your people
Remember Your children
Remember Your promise
Oh God
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough for me
Great is Your love and justice
God You use the weak to lead the strong
You lead us in the song of Your salvation
And all Your people sing along
So remember Your people
Remember Your children
Remember Your promise
Oh God
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough for me
(x2)
So remember Your people
Remember Your children
Remember Your promise
Oh God
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough for me
Your grace is enough
Heaven reaching down to us
Your grace is enough for me
God I see your grace is enough
I'm covered in your love
Your grace is enough for me
For me

Isn't it so like God to be able to work on two people across the country from each other with different needs using the same song? So neat we both chose the same song this week.

"Oh God, Help! I have said the many times. I had my moment Sunday morning during the service. I actually left the service & went to sit by the lake.
