you drive far enough this is what you see...real snow! These are the Sierra Nevada Mountains as seen from Apple Hill near Placerville, CA. The first week in January we took the kids up to get apple donuts and just get our noses out and it turned out to be a gorgeous day. The temperature was in the high 60s. I even got a chance to stop in at Lofty Lou's and buy a couple issues of Spin Off magazine. Not much time or money to look at yarn, but it was fun to get out of the house and breathe some fresh air! IF there is no smog, we can actually see the mountains from the hwy here, but usually the view is blocked by smog!

Real California Snow...
Okay, If
you drive far enough this is what you see...real snow! These are the Sierra Nevada Mountains as seen from Apple Hill near Placerville, CA.
